As we're aware, modern screenplay writers rarely consider creating a film without at least one prominent female. Surmising from the research volumes below it seems Eleanor of Aquitaine could play a vital role in Pilgrimage. She lived from 1122 - 1204. She first married Louis VII of France but that union was annulled. She then wed Henry II of England. They had 8 children including 2 sons who would become kings - Richard the Lionhearted and John.
